I am getting restarted after the holidays and ran across this article in my news feed this morning.
Most of the world is cold right now, BRRRRRR! It was even in the 40s here in Florida! So I decided to post this article about extreme low temperatures. I never knew this test facility existed and I guess many of you did not know either unless you worked or served in a similar capacity during the Cold War. I wonder if the USA and USSR had similar facilities. If any of you know, please share.
Link on over to the Daily Mail and have a good read...
Ps: I restarted the t-shirt and Proud Cold Warrior Society campaign deal also, so click on the t-shirt image to the right and sign up today! You will receive a $3.00 off incentive at check out when using this link.

SHARE YOUR COLD WAR STORY !
Where did you serve? Military or Civilian? Stateside or Overseas. Fulda Gap? Berlin? NATO? CIA? State Department? The Dew Line? On a Missile Battery? Down in a Silo? At Sea? Under the Sea? In the Air? According to the VA over 26 million Vets are still alive. I'd bet that most served in the 1945-1991 time frame and I'd like to share your story on this blog. As long as it isn't still classified, email me with your story and I will post it here. email@example.com
